One Health & Implementation Research (OHIR) is an international, peer-reviewed, gold open access journal.
In an era marked by escalating socio-ecological crises, including climate change, habitat destruction, species extinction, urbanization, and the rise of zoonotic diseases, the interconnectedness of human, wildlife, and domestic animal health is undeniable. These challenges contribute significantly to both communicable and non-communicable diseases, alongside a concerning surge in antimicrobial resistance. This intricate nexus necessitates a holistic understanding of health and disease dynamics, integrating human, animal, plant, and environmental sciences globally.
OHIR is dedicated to fostering multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research endeavors, looking to generate and disseminate robust evidence that facilitates the enhancement of health outcomes universally. We are committed to advancing sustainable disease prevention and control strategies through the One Health framework.
