We are pleased to announce that Prof. Lihua Xiao, from South China Agricultural University, China, has been appointed as the Associate Chief Editor to support the development of One Health & Implementation Research.
Prof. Lihua Xiao:
Prof. Lihua Xiao received his PhD and postdoctoral training in the United States. He worked in the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), USA, during 1993-2018, serving as a Principal Investigator and Research Microbiologist in the Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases (DFWED). For the last 25 years, he has published more than 400 original papers, invited reviews and book chapters, edited several books and special publications, focused mostly on genetics and genomics, host-pathogen interactions, and molecular epidemiology of food-borne, waterborne, and zoonotic parasites, and is most noted for his work in Cryptosporidium. He is a recipient of the Henry Baldwin Ward Medal, American Society of Parasitologists, and one of the Highly Cited Researchers by Web of Science.
As the Associate Chief Editor, Prof. Xiao will guide the journal to step forward and publish more research findings of academic values, to promote the innovation and development of scientific research.
